Well folks, despite the screams of protest from many on here to the contrary it turns out (to nobody's surprise) that labour is indeed anti Semitic. Good bye Jeremy, there a special bolgia waiting for you.

I'm just sitting back and drinking it all in as the whole lot spirals out of control and ends up burning up in the sun. Now red Len has threatened to lose the next election for labour....son, they don't need your help, honestly.

Imho, what the country needs next time is an electoral pact to deliver PR. We shouldn’t have to put an with another extreme government (left or right).

Will never happen. Neither of the 2 main parties want to be joined at the hip with the equivalent of a Jo Swinson.
I'm not against it. Just saying it will never pass in Parliament.
Still...locked down till March soon (with a week break at xmas), Donald Trunp reelected with a minority vote and a debt of 3 trillion of WW2 proportions that will kill hundreds of thousands of the next generation prematurely. What's not to like?🙄

It does seem somewhat perverse that we keep electing persons to run the country who are quite simply incapable of organising a village fete. Even turkeys do not vote for xmas but that is exactly what the British public do on a regular basis just because it our "democratic" right.
If we return to "normality" tomorrow our children, who have yet to be conceived, will be footing the bill all their lives, assuming that is there is any employment left. Bearing in mind that this virus could be around for the next 100 years, or days, (no one knows), so at what point do they say enough is enough and we need to get back to work?
In the early stages the virus was transmitted by personal contact which warranted some form of distancing ,but it is now obviously become atmospherically endemic so one would need to be encased in a lead box to avoid contact. But does anyone take this pragmatic approach to the problem? Do they ****, no its shut everything down because we will have a vaccine by next week. Well good luck with that idea Mr Hancock because you obviously know sod all about immunisation and even less about virology, despite you supposedly having access to the best brains on the matter.
Least the market for those turkeys, who didn't ask to be part of the festive frivolities, will be decimated also. dry.gif dry.gif
