She did say there was nothing downstairs, will this be where the supposed restaurants will go?

Yes Gumbo, There will be (after reading a few articles and a blueprint of the layout of this new cinema) one pub and two restaurants. If you knocked on the white walls downstairs their hollow, with probably huge amounts of room inside. I guess they wanted to open the cinema quickly to not disappoint people after saying it will be open on a certain date.

I would also like to add something about this cinema...

One late evening (saturday just gone), i visited the cinema for a late viewing of the film, Paranormal Activity. Even though i knew it was really bad, there was nothing better to do with my evening at such a late time. I was with 3 other friends who were over the age of 15 to view this film. We were not allowed to watch any film even if it is a certificate 15 unless we are over 18 and had ID. This was because it was passed 10 o'clock. Does this sound stupid to you? Now i know most of you are going to say this is to prevent anti-social behaviour but really, they have security downstairs at all times anyway and their loosing out on alot of money because of this. I was very disapointed and almost flipped when i got told this.

When i get the chance i will complain further about this and im pretty sure this is the only cinema that does this.

Oh and let me just add, about £3.50 for a WKD bottle (yes they have a license) shocking, but this is normal for a cinema i guess.

They can't break the law, especially as it is such a new cinema. I doubt they want to lose their cinema license and incur a massive fine, though I think the law only restricts people under 12 from being in the cinema after 22:00. Then again based on the over 18 part it sounds like it was an over 18's only showing, which Vue and Odeon do for films 15 cert and lower. I mean I was refused entry to 'Up' in Reading because I didn't realise it was an over 18 showing, and I hadn't thought to bring ID.
