QUOTE (nicster09 @ Jul 18 2009, 08:35 PM) On my screen they are below, then with a huge blank space It has been changing all day. I like the way they fiddle with it then jusg b ugger off and leave it. On my computer and laptop the forum is squashed up on the left with a quarter of the screen white and then the ads.... and the ads half obscure the writing area. It is really annoying.

QUOTE (Bill1 @ Jul 18 2009, 08:48 PM) No such problems on my Apple PC. Ads on the right quarter of the screen. Thanks for that; maybe it affects some computers. But it is really bad on mine. I wish they leave things alone until they know what they are doing. Starting a job and then half finishing it is bad professionalism. I've even got half the writing cut off; the writing from the forum.

QUOTE (Hugh Saskin @ Jul 18 2009, 09:01 PM) Something not quite right, certainly, as on my screen I've lost a word or two on the right from GMR regarding police activity in Northbrook St today. Luckily, I'd left the scene before they arrived Good one

QUOTE (Iommi @ Jul 18 2009, 10:19 PM) I don't have any problem. There's an add right at the bottom, but it doesn't interfere. If there is any difference, then it is likely to be browser dependant. It must effect people differently. Thanks.

QUOTE (Jobet @ Jul 19 2009, 12:01 AM) Mine comes up with those silly adverts blocking on the right hand side.Wish they had left it alone as it was OK before. I think they were more interesting in the money the adverts can bring in than the welling being of the members on here. It seems worse today; the forum is squashed up on the left; half the screen is taken up with just white space and just two adverts on top. Was the price worth paying to get a few quid in the till?

Was the price worth paying to get a few quid in the till? Perhaps we should boycott this site for its incompetence, or greed? The people that are responsible for this site clearly don't know what they are doing, or have a forum solution that is not robust enough to cope with inserting adverts properly.
