Come on, own up.... who was responsible for playing giant billiards and knocking down our famous two-tear traffic lights? And before anybody asked; it wasn't me; I know I can do a lot of damage on my bike.... BUT THAT! laugh.gif

A bright red MK3 Astra did it sometime before 18:40. The driver looked very sheepish as she stood at the side of the pole. Took out the rest of the lights Northbound on the A339/London junction and A339 Southbound/A4.

Mr TVP Traffic man did not look too happy.

Front end will need more than a bit of T-cut.

I'm just waiting for the headline "Car written off by badly signed traffic light" "last time I'm coming to Newbury complains aggrieved driver" wink.gif

Maybe it was an act of God; he didn't like it so when he was driving through Newbury he removed it by getting another car crash into it.

I went past there today and it is still bent over. Obviously they are not in a hurry to put it right.

Traffic lifghts like that are not an 'off the peg' purchase.
