Don’t get abusive. It’s not me that was so desperate to score points on the Internet that I felt the need to make statistics up.

Check the data! I did. Where you're proof I'm wrong? You don't have any do you. "Score points on the internet" oh my lord 😂. That's the sort of petty little world you inhabit. Prove me wrong, go on, try

For heaven's sake! All you have to do is Google 'prosecutions for social media hate crimes'. Guys, it's not difficult. Stop squabbling over nothing. Silly. JSC? Don't rise to him.

It's quite funny that someone can actually be so obtuse and expect to be taken seriously by his superior intellectuals on this forum. A bit sad actually.😂

Well I Googled and couldn’t find any evidence of 15,000 prosecutions. Nothing came up so it’s safe to assume he’s lying. Sad.

I found it, simples 🤣 you're either not trying hard enough or, and why would I even think this, your simply trolling. Hmm, I wonder which. Either way, I lost interest a long time ago. Try posting how many prosecutions you did find and post links to prove he's wrong. You know, put the ball in his court.

That would take time and research. He is probably downloading as much "porn" as possible before the ban starts.🤣🤣

Don't worry though newres. If you ask your Dad he will be able to buy you a "porn pass" from the newsagents.😂😂😂

If that is true then I feel genuinely sorry for you. If it's a sick wind up then you are repulsive. As you know my situation.

Then you ought to have been more sensitive perhaps? As it happens it’s true.

To be honest I'm not sure if I believe you or not. You troll so much the truth and fiction are blurred.

Back to topic for a brief moment.
Surely when Parliament voted to take "no deal" off the agenda it was a reversal of the electorate's decision to leave the EU? Those who voted to leave did so with no thought of a "deal" or further debate, just LEAVE!
Based on the premise that parliament has now effectively put two fingers up to the views of the great unwashed one poses the question, will this country conduct a referendum ever again? angry.gif

I think the upcoming one will be the last one for a couple of generations. The electorate are now thoroughly fed up with traipsing to the polls and I predict a record low turnout for the next general election.

The referendum did not mandate no deal. In fact all of the Leave campaign was about we’d get a great deal. And note that Gove wants a deal and BJ doesn’t and these were the Leave leaders.

As far as my diminishing memory serves me the question was "Do you think the UK should remain a member of the European Union or leave the European Union"? Remain / Leave was the choice.
Nowhere did it say anything about formulating a deal, favourable or otherwise.
Anyone who was influenced by the tripe spouted by the likes of Johnson, Osborne et al are deserving of chaos.

Exactly, leave or stay, that was the choice. They should have said we're leaving, goodbye. Then sat back and waited for them to fall over themselves offering us a deal. But they didn't, so here we are. And, if they're not careful we could still crash out with no deal whatsoever. The law states we leave on the 29th of this month so short of promising them either an election or a referendum it looks like we're stuck. I was supposed to be in Frankfurt beginning of May talking to a couple of potential suppliers, no point now.

And thereby lies the heart of this fiasco. As a pensioner my position is somewhat ambiguous but had I still been in the workplace I would be tearing my hair out along with everyone else on the single lack of clarity on our position after the end of the month. Gross incompetence somehow doesn't even get close to describing Parliament's handling of the issue.

Leave and wait? Do you run a business? If so how could you countenance such recklessness? What happens when nothing gets in or out? We’d grind to a halt. rolleyes.gif
